Fluids are integral to the functionality of industrial and mobile equipment, and as conduits for these fluids, hose assemblies are critical to system performance. It's well known that formed hose and hose/tube assemblies are the go-to solution for fluid handling system design challenges such as those found in space-restricted installations or applications requiring a tight bend radius.
These approaches offer the advantages of ease of replacement and smaller allowable minimum bend radius; however, there are significant drawbacks including increased costs associated with custom replacement parts and a higher likelihood for hose/tube assembly leaks due to multiple connections.
Considering all of the factors that can negatively affect hose performance and useful life, it's apparent that better solutions are needed to avoid costly downtime and repair.
Recognizing that markets from construction to transportation to agriculture needed a safer, more reliable, and cost-efficient alternative to formed hose and hose/tube assemblies, Parker developed the E-Z Form hose series: a system-based solution to challenging application problems.
